I just wanted to up date you all and let you know that the Bamboo Fly Rod which I am making and donating to the chapter is almost complete.
You'll all have a chance to see it; and it will be in the hands of Jay Downs soon. My projected completion date is by the end of June. Jay will be showing off the rod as he can and will have it on display at the meetings.
The chapter will have more than enough time to sell the tickets and I hope everyone in the chapter takes advantage of the opportunity to take a chance to win an Heirloom Quality Split Cane Bamboo Fly. Please help me to get my name out there; and once you see the work, I believe you will feel confortable in advocating for me.
Please try to sell a ticket to a fly fishing friend and/or to someone who you know that fly fishes who would appreciate a fine cane rod.
The rod is a nicely flame tempered 7'0'' 2/2 configuration rod for # 4/5 lines.
I hope you're all having a good season thus far.
Thank you very much,
Tim

Thanks for the update Tim. Looking forward to seeing your work up close at the meetings. I'm already saving pennies in a jar to buy some extra tickets.
